This project stands out for its use of colour to organise the room into two distinct zones. The first, finished with a soft polka-dot pattern, is dedicated to rest, while the second, more dynamic area accommodates activities, play and study.

This approach creates two complementary atmospheres within a single room.

To install the suspended ladder, we integrated reinforcements into the ceiling, which required lowering it slightly over part of the room. Recessed lights were also incorporated to provide effective illumination for the study area.

The polka-dot wall was created using a simple but expressive technique: circles were applied to the wall, the surface was painted, and the circles were then removed. This reveals a light graphic pattern, subtly echoed by the round light fixtures positioned above the bed.

This project shows how colour can become a genuine space-planning tool, structuring a child’s bedroom and creating several distinct environments within the same space.
