We begin with the space itself: the layout, proportions, light, circulation, and how it is used. Decoration comes later, in service of the architecture. Good architecture does not need an abundance of decorative elements.

Lighting, furniture, materials, equipment, technical details, and complex junctions are all considered in advance. Anything that can be decided during the design stage should not be improvised on site.
